Hello, I am the apartment reviewer for SunStateApartments.com.  My Goal is to give you an unbiased account of what I see when I go and visit the property.  Most of the reviews you see online are from disgruntled residents and a lot of their discontent is from problems they have created.  They just are not happy with how the community is trying to resolve their problem.  IE. rent not paid on time or at all.  I have lived in apartments for a lot of my life.  Starting when my family moved to Central Florida  when I was 2.  My Mother also got a job in the apartment communities office we lived on.  We lived on apartment communities until my Mother was promoted to a Regional Apartment Manager.  When I was Twelve, my Mother switched from managing apartment communities to owning a company that serviced apartment communities.  Since then I have worked almost exclusively with companies that serviced apartment communities.  In 2003 I met and married my wife, who was an...  Apartment Community Manager.  She has since moved on to a different industry.  I have even done secret video shopping of Apartment Communities around the state.

Growing up in Central Florida with a Mother who loved the beach, we spent a lot of weekends at the beach.  We spent most of our time at Daytona Beach.  But, as I got older, I started surfing.  So, I spent a lot of time in New Smyrna Beach Inlet, Cocoa Beach Pier, various Melbourne Beaches, and when time (and gas money) allowed Sebastian Inlet.  Now, I take my kids to the beaches too.  Daytona Beach is the closest; but we also liked the slower, family friendliness of the Melbourne Beaches.

To summarize my qualifications; I have lived and played at the beaches in Central Florida for 40 years.  I have worked in the Apartment industry for almost 30 years (child labor laws don't apply to kids of a family business).  I will give my unbiased opinion on apartment communities I visit, so you can know what to expect when you visit
