Why aren't you allowed to have a BBQ grill on your patio?

Apartment Communities don't have a policy against BBQ Grills, it is a law.  It is also strictly enforced by the Fire Department and Fire Marshals.  There is to much chance of  a patio catching on fire.  That is why most apartment communities have BBQ Grills located through out the community and almost allways near the pool.  If you feel that you must absolutely have a grill on your patio, there are now electric BBQ Grills just for apartment communities.  Believe it or not, it is actually easier to cook on as the heat is constant and even.  Happy BBQing.
